| Summary, etc. | “Paroles et parole” is a small travelling theatrical form, created following the meeting of Olivia Seigne, actress and director, and Jocelyne Métrailler al-Sayegh, nurse specialising in palliative care. The aim of the play is to provide a forum for patients and professionals to get to know and understand each other better, and perhaps even to raise awareness on both sides. The play explores the role of language in care, highlighting the importance of listening, body language and choice of words in building a therapeutic relationship. |
