| Summary, etc. | The author first explains the benefits of a psychoanalytical approach to images and representation, with a special emphasis on the importance of the first access to images. From a clinical point of view, she then tackles the problem of mistreated children, examining the therapeutic property of creating images using an experiment undertaken with a therapeutic group for children who are victims of mistreatment.
