520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Due to evolutionary and genetic necessity, children are born with a significant biological heritage. This includes their body and particularly their brain, along with an array of possible behaviors. In addition to this biological capital, it is also through the randomness of birth that the child inherits a developmental niche, which is determined by the parents’ physical and sociocultural environment. This developmental niche is inherited de facto, and is thus one of “the natural bases of nurture” that are explored in this article. Based on experiments in developmental psychology, the aim of the text is to reiterate the need to consider these natural bases in all discussions on the anthropology of babies.
