Summary, etc. Conducted during a lockdown period linked to COVID-19, our research evaluated a home-schooling experience for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in Kinshasa. Thirty children with autism were recruited by convenience sampling to complete school activities in the form of homework with the help of their parents.The results show that during lockdown, activities related to communication, arithmetic and reading (preschool / school) were the main activities performed by the children. Parental involvement was observed only in communication and graphic activities. The lack of full parental involvement was linked to the need to find ways for the family to survive and the inability to stay at home confined with a child with difficult-to-contain behaviors to help him complete schoolwork set by teachers in the form of homework.
