Summary, etc. In this article, with the help of a “theo-gastronomic” reflection, the author proposes a new approach to discernment – from a Eucharistic perspective – that would be favourable to the intersection between the proclamation of the faith, daily and vocational discernment, and fraternal accompaniment that is highlighted in the apostolic exhortation, Christus vivit. Acknowledging the desire for singularity that is present in the contemporary world as “Good News,” he proposes a path of personal fulfilment based on the Eucharistic actions of Jesus at his last supper : he took the bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples… Christian mystagogues, through a spiritual and practical assimilation of the stakes of these four verbs that summarize the core of faith, would be able to help the youngest –and also the not-so-young– in discerning God’s ways in their lives. Each person will thus be able to embark on the rich and dramatic adventure that is a life lived freely following Jesus Christ.
