This article analyses these submissions to better understand the emotional communities centred around war remembrance. It identifies the anxieties and sub-jectivities that drive remembrance, highlights the deeply ahistorical nature of commemoration, examines the role of testimony and re-enactment and considers what is often forgotten when Australians remember war. |
