| Summary, etc. | Ce papier évalue l’impact de l’accès des femmes à la terre et de leur contrôle sur les scores de consommation et de diversité alimentaire des ménages, en utilisant l’échantillon rural des données de l’enquête sur l’analyse globale de la vulnérabilité et de la sécurité alimentaire réalisée en 2013 au Bénin. Le score de consommation alimentaire des ménages est positivement et significativement lié à l’accès des femmes à la terre et à son contrôle. Les ménages agricoles dans lesquels elles ont accès à la terre et la contrôlent ont en moyenne un score de consommation alimentaire supérieur de 15,75 par rapport à leurs homologues. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper analyzes the impact of women’s access to and control over land on food security in rural Benin. It emphasizes the impact on food consumption and dietary diversity, using the rural sample of the data from the 2013 survey “Comprehensive Food Security and Vulnerability Analysis,” carried out in Benin. Households’ food consumption score appears to be positively and significantly related to women’s access to and control over land. The food consumption score of farming households in which women have access to and control over land was on average 15.75 higher than their counterparts. JEL Classification: D13, I38, Q18 |
