Summary, etc. This paper discusses a long-term collaboration between occupational health physicians from an international firm based in France and a team of occupational psychologists. The purpose of this joint undertaking is to investigate connections between health promotion and development of the trade. In order to increase knowledge about these connections, this paper experiments with new ways of preventing psychosocial risks. We designed one method to support employees’ capacities to develop their power to act on their working situation and on themselves. Therefore, we promote occupational health by focusing our actions on work. We conducted interventions with groups of workers, technicians, and middle management personnel. The results highlight practitioners’ capacity to recreate psychological and social resources when they have available time and space to work through work challenges.
