520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This paper contributes to the discussion regarding the links between deliberation and the protection of the environment, with a focus on a territorial dialog initiated by a river union on the management of a drainage basin subject to rising water levels. We analyze the stakeholders’ perceptions and appropriations of the agreements. Paradoxically, the quality of the deliberation has resulted in an undermining of the initial ecological goals, poorly argued by the environmental representatives. Moreover, the construction works resulting from the agreements both reveal and challenge the achievements of the deliberation process.
