Summary, etc. After presenting a necessary historical recapitulation of the psychiatric and psychoanalytic definitions of paranoia, the article proposes a succinct review of the authors who have contributed to the explicitation of paranoiac manifestations in the TAT and Rorschach projective tests. Although more emphasis is given to the Rorschach, the description of these mechanisms applies to both tests. Some examples then illustrate the different translations of paranoiac anxiety and the defenses used to fight against it.
