Summary, etc. Few studies regarding the methodological administration of the Thematic Apperception Test (Murray, 1943) have suggested assessing the relevance of the use of picture cards GF and 17BM in a male population. Yet, the appointment of specific cards for each gender contradicts the very prominent psychoanalytical theory of psychic bisexuality. In a study that aims to explore the dynamics of the identification process in a population of sexual violence offenders, researchers have tested the significance of administering the GF and 17BM cards. Despite the results not being generalizable, the use of these cards allowed a significant unfolding of psychological conflicts that were not depicted through other cards. This article focuses on presenting the fine details of the applicability of this method uncovered by the comparison of protocols from both sexual violence offenders and control groups.
