520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study aimed at assessing the impact of adult attachment styles on the development of pregnancy-specific anxiety (PSA) and prenatal attachment to the fetus. In total, 79 pregnant women responded to the Prenatal Attachment Inventory (PAI), the Pregnancy-Related Anxiety Questionnaire (PRAQ-R2), and the Relationship Scales Questionnaire (RSQ). Fearful and preoccupied attachment styles predicted significant high PSA scores. No significant results were found for prenatal attachment. Better understanding of the contribution of attachment styles to the development of PSA would allow better adaptation of therapeutic and preventive interventions for pregnant women.
