520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The aim of this study is to explore the impact of new mothers’ body image and body experience on their bonding: the emotional link between parent and infant in the early postpartum. A sample of 565 women, aged 18 to 45 years, completed an online questionnaire on their sociodemographic and obstetrical data, a questionnaire on body image, and a questionnaire on bonding. The results highlight the negative impact of lower body satisfaction, a perception of the body as unfeminine, and a state of body tension on the mother’s bonding with her infant.
