| Summary, etc. | The clinic of adolescents confronts us with unstable or borderline psychic organizations. Within these presymptomatic registers, the dimension of inhibition is valuable in restraining instinctual demands. However, this type of subjective organization based on “inhibition by opposition” does not yet make it possible to ensure the binding of satisfaction and law, a binding that requires the arrival of the symptom in order to take place. Failing this, especially in obsessional and anorexic cases, a form of temporal disjunction is established, which draws the subject into an absurd self-reflexive maze, to the point of being locked into a perpetual oscillation between inhibited or ascetic behaviors and unrestrained or transgressive behaviors. |
