It can thus be observed that, while the upheavals caused by the digital technology expansion have the effect of significantly reducing the data bases right in that they re-examine access to information and data, intellectual property rights, affirmed at the dawn of the twenty-first century as fundamental rights, remain ardently defended insofar as they condition, at least in part, the vitality of cultural industries and those based on technological innovation. |
