| Summary, etc. | Given the doubts expressed about the honesty of the Church’s efforts to prevent abuse, and the feeling of redundancy and inefficacy, the aim of this article is to promote both responsible leadership and high-quality prevention work. Both must benefit from a twofold administrative and scientific framework, in order to honour all the stages and dimensions of prevention, and to guide all those involved. In this way, “child protection” can be seen as “an integral part of the Church’s own identity”, something that calls for a commitment by one and all. |
