| Summary, etc. | Open data and personal data protection are today at a turning point. Both regulations, initiated in the late seventies, have been subjects to the influence of european law. The administrative transparency movement, true purpose of the open data movement is nowaday confronted with the reinforcement of personal data protection law, which might lessen its scope. If both areas weren’t originally supposed to cross paths, the use of digital tools within the public administration have required the inclusion of such issue. |
