Summary, etc. | The aim of the paper is to present the ways in which courts communicate with citizens, including the potential for their development. These include internet websites, press services, and databases of jurisprudence. A comparative analysis presents the possible chances of making judiciaries more open and transparent. A basic task of the administrations of judiciaries is not to decide the sense of opening courts to the public, but how to diversify and deepen the efforts to make the judicial power transparent and understandable to the broad audience of public opinion. Nowadays silent justice is not an option. Therefore, various forms of modern communication (among them social media) should be combined with traditional forms and offer citizens broad possibilities that allow them to keep informed of adjudication. |
