Clinical experience shows that these spaces imply a split structure and a multi-faceted Ego-body with multiple destinies. The latter receive their energy from a drive-governed " hallucinatory potential " that requires organisation in order to fulfil its role as the " energy matrix of the psyche ". If this structure is not " habitable " for patients, they consequently shun psychic reality. Analytic " rebirth " implies locating, modifying and reorganising both these spaces and the psychic energy that motivates them in the " hallucinatory register of the transference ". |
