| Summary, etc. | The oedipal dynamics are duplicated by an oedipal space, allowing displacements that are perceptible in the transference: here the Oedipus complex reigns as an attractor (Ody). Beyond neurosis, when the oedipal space shrinks to nothing, it falls to the analyst to open the transference space and to dynamize it. To do so, the author suggests conceiving of the analyst's work as that of a transference attractor that can be substituted for all the patient's objects. |
