| Summary, etc. | Having revisited the history of ideas that gradually led Kanner from childhood autism (1943) to the concept of the "developmental disorder" and then to "autistic-spectrum disorders", the author indicates the political and commercial issues that underlie this disastrous development, which constitutes a true nosological regression.
