520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. "The problematic of transmission in the analytic domain is characterised by the counter-suggestive principle of its method, inherent in free association, which ensures the negativation of what is transmissible. Its ‘methodological madness’ underpins what is always a unique and hazardous experience of a subjectivable encounter with the unconscious through the adventure of the transference. Analytic training must allow the transmission of the deep reasons for Freud’s differentiation in his definition of psychoanalysis between method, treatment and theorisation; the author particularly emphasises the discrepancy between theory and practice. But it is the analysand’s experience that is at the heart of the training and retroactively forms the object of a testimony that provides the evidence that psychoanalysis has been transmitted there."
