Summary, etc. This article seeks to describe the relationship to politics of minority women in terms of gender, class, and spatial environment. It highlights the gendered and territorialized social experiences — at the professional, administrative, and family level — that lead to forms of identification and conflict, both for oneself and one’s family. Relegated to the domestic sphere, these women are dependent on their families and on institutions that are specifically feminine. Their politico-administrative socialization, in connection with their role as mothers, leads them to establish a new form of legitimacy for themselves in the face of the social State, which is perceived as being inegalitarian. In addition to this distance, the immigrant fractions of the working classes are further disconnected from the State, which leads to a polarized vote, splitting either to the Far Left or the Far Right in the 2017 presidential election.
