520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Referring to a two-year research project (2016-2018), of a predominantly qualitative nature, conducted with “second generation” parents residing in the territory of Padua (i.e. teenage children belonging to the so-called “ second Generations of immigration ” ), the article intends to pay attention to the modalities and meanings through which the parents surveyed intend and manage both the educational relationship with their children and the interactions with and into the city. In particular, it aims to highlight both the “intercultural mediation strategies” of these parents in the educational relationship with their adolescent children and the meanings of integration concept in the experience of such parents. The aim is to highlight how the mutual recognition of a “human and ethical commonality” and of a “common biographical condition” (such as being parents ‒ native and non-native ‒ of teenager children) constitutes the challenge around which one plays the possibility of promoting and/or strengthening the formation of an intercultural parenthood in the city.
