| Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to analyse the modalities of familial delivery and flow of recommendation about high-risk of colorectal cancer (CRC), as well as the issues of this prevention. The article draws on data from two studies: a targeted screening of CRC based on randomized controlled trial conducted in the ex-region of Poitou-Charentes (France) between 2010 and 2013; familial monographs about the CRC experience. It is necessary to understand on side how treated persons carry out (or not) familial prevention; on the other side how siblings can (or not) constitute themselves as actors and/or targets of this prevention. The issues under review concern ethical and familial dilemmas of treated persons. The flow of recommendation refers to family setup and quality of family relationships, gender of domestic health work, healthcare pathways and familial history of illness that structure layman’s knowledge about CRC and its prevention. |
