The author proposes four levels of magnification and six conditions for its application. The article shows that the less familiar the researcher is with the research context, the more he or she will benefit from the effects of magnification, which will help to clarify the elements of the real world being explored. The thoughts presented in the text are based on the author’s own experience as a researcher.
