Summary, etc. Companies have suffered for years from a psychosocial risk that hinders performance: work stress. Indeed, many changes have occurred in firms and the labor market making the atmosphere in companies more and more unbearable. Human resources, particularly executives, constantly work “under tension.” In this paper, we make a distinction between executives and middle managers. Is the perceived stress in each of these two groups related to the same factors? It is this question that we try to answer in this paper. To do this, we rely on action research and semi-structured interviews conducted among these two populations.
