| Summary, etc. | It appears necessary to re-examine the concept of ecological transition, despite the consensus that seems attached to it, in order to understand its insufficient utilization in law and to reinforce its performativity. The current use of the concept suggests that it is as ineffective as that of sustainable development, whose failure is patent. It is important to think about ways to overcome the weaknesses of this notion, which cannot be ignored, and to examine its potential in order to develop an effective concept. Sharing certain mechanisms of the commons, whose deployment it could support, the ecological transition would then effectively lead to the protection of the environment. |
