Summary, etc. This paper examines psychic construction with reference to the model of new families where processes of identification are becoming increasingly complex. It begins by investigating the role played by complexes in current family psychoanalysis. The post-Freudians add three complexes to the classical Oedipus complex: the complex of weaning, the complex of intrusion, and the fraternal complex. In order to resolve these complexes, the construction of imagos must be placed within the group perspective of the family. Only a group can help the subject to free him- or herself from the archaic maternal imago. Likewise, only a fraternal group can oppose and differentiate itself from the parental couple by gaining access to generational differentiation. A clinical case of psychoanalytic family therapy illustrates the question of new families in relation to their multiple groups of belonging. The introduction of Internet (Skype) made it possible for one of the fathers to participate in the therapeutic process virtually.
