520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Anchored in a long tradition, the case study is still a topical and fruitful form of research, a veritable “living nucleus” between clinical practice and theoretical elaboration. We note that group clinical practice referring to psychoanalytic epistemology, albeit very widely practised in the daily life of institutions but of a complexity that is difficult account for, has been the object of very few genuine case studies. Two cases seem essential to us: Chronique d’un groupe by Kaës and Anzieu (1976) in the field of the group, and the case study of Edward in Creative Music Therapy by Nordoff and Robbins (1977) for artistic mediation. On the basis of the foundations laid down by these two cases and findings in the literature, we reflect on the challenges in conferring value on group clinical practice.
