Summary, etc. | This work follows in the footsteps of studies on group dynamics (Anzieu, Rouchy) and on narration (Shafer, Spence, Bruner, White). It suggests a possible link between narration as narrative style and the dynamic/evolving phases that the group goes through. The hypothesis is that the groups have a specific narrative style depending on the phases they are in, and that these can be identified with the help of specific indicators. The attention paid to the group narrative style offers the group leader interesting opportunities for “reading” and action: analysis of the styles makes it possible to verify the state of the group, the formulation of intervention hypotheses, and facilitates group development. By analysing the linguistic and verbal structure, the structure of contents, the emotional structure and the atmosphere of the narrations of the participants, the clinician can orient his/her intervention in favour of the evolution of the group, produce changes in the participants, and verify them. |
