Summary, etc. | Drawing on an analysis of the discourses and measures that emerged during the Covid-19 health crisis, this article offers a critical perspective of the rather generalized recourse to the term trauma. After resituating this term within its psychopathological valency, we show how, faced with the loss of control over our environment, a spontaneous reorganization occurred by virtue of the recourse to the concept of trauma, but at the price of a “traum-hâtif” encroachment. The sign of a new moral economy of the event, this social and political function seems to have made it possible to stand together, as it were, and to create a sense of common experience in a context of the global breakdown of the frameworks pre-existing this crisis. Finally, we point out how the lockdown (confinement) was for some an ideological deconfinement and a warning with respect to the more distal crisis emerging as the genealogical and prospective backcloth of Covid-19, namely, the environmental crisis. |
