| Summary, etc. | The relationship between history and theology that arose with the modernist crisis has led to the momentary outcome through the category of creative tradition conceived of by Maurice Blondel. This developed in the direction of a hermeneutical approach that influenced critical exegesis of the Bible and the history of dogma without becoming totally received by all. A new situation arose from a culture marked by subjectivation of individuals and their detraditionalization. Their present situation is in crisis because this search for a foundation encounters liquid societies. A phenomenology reading Heidegger as an Apocalypse of truth would lead back to Paul of Tarsus to rehabilitate the danger as the power of a new creative imagination. Subsequently, the article will suggest that Christian anamnesis, as in Paul, could provide the present day with a wiser utilization of history. |
