Summary, etc. Although this business sector is often presented as transitory and precarious, some professionals do choose to make a career as animators through the use of professional diplomas prepared within the framework of continuous education. In this article, we will focus on professional animators taking a joint diploma that combines a professional qualification and that of a first year Master’s degree. They are embarking on a completely new training experience which mobilizes both individual and collective reflexive practices organized and supported by writing, exchange and lessons. By allowing for a reflexive approach to school, family and professional experiences, this educational method reveals “along the way” some very powerful issues around what is known as “the rise in legitimacy”, both in working life as well as at a symbolic level, as they gain access to knowledge and diplomas that might have seemed otherwise inaccessible.
