Summary, etc. African migrant sex workers in France are often considered as victims of traffi-cking. The reality is more complex and, if one accepts to listen to their own experiences one can understand that migration and sex work are part of women’s strategies to improve their way of life and support their families. African sex workers are not so different from other sex wor-kers and migration is not a new phenomenon regarding sex work.
