520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Our intention is to think sociologically, and therefore anthropologically, about the notion of borders, and in particular “territorial” borders. This requires a permanent questioning of how we (re)define both “me” and “we,” as well as our definition of the “other” which is, of course, on the other side of the border. Our anthropo-sociological reality is diverse and plural, and we are surrounded by many borders. Why should we want to reduce identity to a one-dimensional reality when it is multiple and complex? The border does not only express a limit, but also, more often than not, an open space. This space provides places of exchange and enrichment where plural identities can be formed.
