Summary, etc. How do foreigners, who come to Luxembourg for work, discover the city through sport? This is one of the questions asked during ethnographic research focusing on a sports group in two research organisations employing a large percentage of foreigners.The inductive approach of grounded theory was developed for the exploration of the working migrants’ sensitive experience of integration into the new country. The concepts of interaction and integration, borrowed from the Chicago School, were the theoretical tools for analysis of the data collected through observations, interviews, and maps of the working environments. The article discusses the integration of its members into the city, as well as their interaction with the spaces outside their work in various degrees and explores how, through the sports group at work, foreigners working in the country discover places that are otherwise limited to outside of their working space. The analysis concludes by showing how running in/with the group serves as a medium through which people interact with the city and its history and build their own story in the city.

Summary, etc. Cómo los inmigrantes, que llegan a Luxemburgo para trabajar, pueden descubrir la ciudad a través del deporte en un grupo? Esta es una de las preguntas de esta investigación etnográfica sobre el deporte de un grupo de empleados de dos organizaciones de investigación que emplean un alto porcentaje de extranjeros. El proceso inductivo de la teoría enraizada, enumeró de forma concomitante los enjuegos de estos extranjeros en la integración en un nuevo país y el descubrimiento de una ciudad. Las nociones de interacción e integración tomados de la Escuela de Chicago constituyen las herramientas teóricas de análisis de los datos recogidos a través de observaciones, entrevistas, y del mapa de su entorno habitual. El estudio muestra cómo la experiencia del grupo de carrera a pie es un medio a través del cual las personas interactúan con la ciudad y su historia, construyendo sus propias historias en la ciudad.

Summary, etc. Wie werden Einwanderer, die zum Arbeiten nach Luxemburg gekommen sind, die Stadt durch den gemeinsamen Sport entdecken? Dies ist eine der Fragen dieser ethnographischen Forschung zum täglichen Sport einer Gruppe von Angestellten zweier Forschungsorganisationen, die einen hohen Anteil an Ausländern beschäftigen. Die induktive Vorgehensweise nach der Grounded Theory hat zugleich die Bedeutung der Integration und die Entdeckung einer Stadt als sensible Erfahrung für diese Ausländer aufgezeigt. Die Konzepte Interaktion und Integration der Chicago School lieferten das theoretische Werkzeug zur Analyse der Daten, die durch Beobachtungen, Interviews und mit Hilfe einer Kartenzeichnung der bekannten Umgebung erfasst wurden. Die Untersuchung zeigt, wie das Laufen in der Gruppe zum Medium wird, durch das die Individuen mit der Stadt und deren Geschichte interagieren und sich ihre Geschichte in der Stadt konstruieren.

Summary, etc. Come degli immigrati, nuovi arrivati in Lussemburgo per il lavoro, vanno a scoprire la città con la pratica sportiva in gruppo? Questa è una delle questioni poste durante questa ricerca etnografica sulla pratica sportiva quotidiana di un gruppo di salariati di due organismi di ricerca impieganti una percentuale importante di stranieri. Il procedimento induttivo della teorizzazione radicata ha fatto emergere in maniera concomitate la posta in gioco per questi stranieri dell’integrazione in un nuovo paese e la scoperta di una città, in quanto esperienza sensibile. Le nozioni d’interazione e d’integrazione prese dalla Scuola di Chicago hanno costituito l’attrezzatura teorica dell’analisi dei dati raccolti attraverso osservazioni, interviste, in particolare con l’utilizzazione di carta disegnata del proprio ambiente conosciuto. L’inchiesta mostra come l’esperienza di corse a piedi in gruppo sia un mezzo attraverso il quale gli individui interagiscono con la città e la sua storia, costruendosi la loro storia nella città.
