Summary, etc. Physical inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle have been singled out as scourges that particularly affect young people. With the prospect of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and the definition of the national sport-health strategy, increasing the number of young people taking part in physical and sports activity has become a central part of the legacy project. A number of schemes have been set up in the school system with this in mind. Our article focuses on three of them: the Generation 2024 label (G2024), the 30 minutes of daily physical activity (30APQ), and the 2 extra hours of sports in high school (2HSC). This article is based on work carried out as part of several surveys mobilizing a variety of material: mainly documentation and interviews. We show that these schemes are based, among other things, on bringing the various school levels closer to the world of sports, but that this remains a difficult task. This raises the question of the legacy in terms of increased sports participation among young people.
