| Summary, etc. | This article aims to study same-sex relationships in two radically different socio-legal contexts (Belgium and Italy). In particular, the article highlights the links between romantic attachment style, internalized homophobia, social support, and desire for, and intent of, parenthood. The sample is composed of 120 young homosexual people (60 Belgian and 60 Italian). Each subgroup is divided into 2 equal groups according to gender (30 men and 30 women) and relationship status (30 singles and 30 in a current relationship). Some significant correlations and differences between these groups can be demonstrated, allowing for a better understanding of the way to live a relationship and the desire for parenthood among homosexual people. |
