520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. In Scop (Cooperative and Participative Societies), employees are also the main owners of the company; they are paid for their work and their financial contribution. These companies emphasise the collective dimension of their organisation. The search for profit is subordinated to the imperative of co-operation. The article looks at the place of remuneration practices in the construction of a common interest that must unite co-operators. Based on a survey of three industrial cooperatives, it shows the conditions under which the remuneration of capital and of labour can contribute to building collectives based on several principles of cohesion. Cooperatives thus raise the question of the conditions for the possibility of setting up relatively autonomous remuneration systems in relation to the “market”.
