520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. When disabled people organize their own help at home, they can directly employ individuals. They then take on all the administrative and legal responsibilities of the work relationship. Beyond that, they must also manage every aspect of the relationship, including recruitment and training. Our qualitative research, based on semi-directive interviews with individual employers in Languedoc-Roussillon and Île-de-France, has allowed us insight into the lived experiences of this specific form of management. Territorial resources, in the form of local social policy or voluntary organizations working with disabled people, have an effect on management styles adopted. These major differences between two territories do not prevent the appearance locally of different ways of doing things. These can range from recruitment by affinity, a form of soft management, to recruitment by competency, which can lead to an instrumental relationship towards the care given.
