| Summary, etc. | It seems justifiable to examine the integration of technological and nontechnological innovations in care homes for dependent elderly people (EHPADs). The observation we can make on this subject tends to prove that there is a gradual integration of quality within these institutions in the form of various kinds of innovations. Through some examples, we describe the different types of innovations as well as the ways in which they are integrated, strongly emphasizing the need to maintain an ever-constant balance between innovations and the indispensable human dimension within care homes—a humanity that continues to prevail in daily institutional action. |
