| Summary, etc. | A travers l’exemple de la gestion d’une pollution diffuse de la nappe phréatique en Alsace, l’article s’interroge sur les effets de la gestion intégrée sur la ressource eau. En se basant sur une lecture systémique du « cycle social » de l’eau, l’article s’attache à démontrer les limites d’une gestion qui loin de dépasser les logiques de filières, les entretient en réduisant essentiellement les actions entreprises en faveur de la ressource au seul registre technique. L’utilisation systématique de ce medium de conciliation entre les différents usages s’avère d’autant plus problématique qu’il renforce la fermeture des filières et contribue à la « colonisation » toujours plus poussée des processus naturels générateurs d’autres problématiques environnementales. |

| Summary, etc. | Through the example of management of wide-spread groundwater pollution in the Northeast of France, this article seeks to analyze the effects of integrated water management on the basis of a systemic approach to the water “social cycle”. The article will discuss the limits of a management that far exceeds « channel logic » and one that maintains this logic by reducing actions undertaken in favour of this resource solely in technical terms. The systematic use of this unique medium of integration for the various uses of water is all the more problematic, since it reinforces the closing of these channels and increasingly contributes to the “colonization of the natural process” which generates other environmental issues. |
