| Summary, etc. | L’analyse et l’action paysagères en Suisse sont éclairées par les résultats et les recommandations du programme national de recherche « Paysages et habitats de l’arc alpin » Paysages et habitats de l’arc alpin ». Consacré à l’évolution du paysage alpin, ce programme cherche à accompagner son développement durable. Il innove en incluant les approches sociales et culturelles du paysage, dont les conclusions encouragent des démarches participatives et négociées tenant compte des différents intérêts dans la gestion paysagère. En effet, le paradigme naturaliste dans la gestion paysagère en Suisse est encore très vivace. L’action paysagère publique est majoritairement informée par des valeurs environnementales, confondant valeur biologique et valeur paysagère. Dans la recherche d’une gestion paysagère plus transparente et démocratique, il importe de distinguer ces deux types de légitimité d’intervention paysagère. L’analyse socio-anthropologique peut fortement y contribuer. |

| Summary, etc. | Landscape management and analysis in Switzerland are better known through the results and recommendations of the national research program “Landscapes and habitats of the Alps”. Worried by the evolution of the alpine landscape, this program aims to support a sustainable development of this one. It innovates by integrating the cultural and representational approaches of the landscape, whose conclusions encourage participative and negotiated processes taking account of the various interests in landscape management. Indeed, the naturalist paradigm in the landscape management in Switzerland is still predominant. The public landscape action is mainly based on environmental values, implying confusion between biological and landscape values. In the search for a more transparent and democratic landscape management, it is important to distinguish these two types of legitimacy of landscape intervention. The socio-anthropological analysis can strongly contribute to it. |
