| Summary, etc. | Le fonctionnement actuel des contrats dans le secteur avicole chair, en France, fait l’objet de questions de la part à la fois des éleveurs et des industriels. Depuis le début des années 2000, la filière perd en compétitivité globale et certains acteurs de la filière mettent en doute l’efficacité économique de l’organisation de la filière et des contrats impliquant les éleveurs. Une analyse a été menée sur le rôle des contrats avicoles et la façon dont ils répondent aux différents objectifs. Leur grande diversité illustre la pluralité des organisations de filière et des stratégies d’acteurs ainsi que la complexité des relations entre maillons. Cependant, l’étude a mis en évidence l’importance de la qualité des modes de coordination dans la compétitivité globale de la filière. Une seconde étude, conduite en 2013 dans cinq pays européens, complète ce panorama. |

| Summary, etc. | ?In France, both the poultry producers and the industry stak? ?eholders raise questions about how contracts perform in the poultry meat sector. Since the beginning of the 2000s, the sector has been facing a loss in competitiveness and some stakeholders put in doubt the economic efficiency of both the French sector organization and the contracts between producers and their partners. The poultry contracts and the way they fulfill their various objectives is examined. The diversity of the contracts illustrates the variety of the organizational schemes, and the complexity of the stakeholders relationships. However, the study emphasizes how important the quality of the coordination scheme is for the competitiveness of the poultry sector. A second study, carried out in 2013 in five European countries, completes the French overview. ? |
