| Summary, etc. | Résumé Pays enclavés et limitrophes du Cameroun, le Tchad et la République centrafricaine (RCA), qui acheminent par Douala l’essentiel de leurs exportations et importations, contribuent pour une large part aux performances de ce port. L’objet de cet article est de montrer que dans la perspective de la mise en exploitation des champs pétroliers de Doba au Tchad, le site côtier de Kribi choisi pour abriter le futur terminal pétrolier favorisera la prééminence du Cameroun dans le traitement des marchandises destinées aux États sans littoral de la Communauté économique et monétaire de l’Afrique centrale (Cemac). |

| Summary, etc. | Landlocked neighbouring countries of Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic (CAR), most of whose exports and imports transit via Douala, make a substantial contribution to the port’s performance. This paper seeks to show that when the Doba oilfields in Chad start operating, the coastal site of Kribi, chosen to host the future oil terminal, will spur Cameroon’s pre-eminence in the handling of goods destined for the landlocked states in the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CAEMC). |
