| Summary, etc. | RésuméDepuis le début des années 1990, les logiques universitaire et urbaine sont en complète mutation en Tunisie. Si la ville se restructure et subit de profondes modifications dans l’organisation de son espace, la logique universitaire est régie par le principe d’une université de masse avec un public de plus en plus hétérogène et nombreux. Le nombre croissant d’étudiants a produit des délocalisations, des multiplications de l’espace universitaire et une nouvelle forme de son organisation dans la ville. Cette population étudiante contribue fortement à faire éclater les cloisonnements des structures urbaines et à intégrer l’université dans la dynamique de la ville. |

| Summary, etc. | University education and town planning in Tunisia have changed considerably since the early 1990s. The city is being restructured and its spatial organisation is undergoing major changes. At the same time, university education is driven by the development of mass universities to cater to a more diverse student body. In response to the growing number of students, university infrastructure is being relocated, expanded and reorganised within the city. The student population is helping break down the divisions between urban structures and integrate universities into the dynamics of the city. |
