| Summary, etc. | Le projet renaissant d’une littérature impériale allemande fut conçu en Silésie pour le chef de l’Union protestante, Frédéric V du Palatinat, qui devait accéder à la dignité impériale après avoir été élu roi de Bohême en 1619. Après la victoire des Habsbourg, le projet finit dans l’aporie d’une littérature d’opposition. L’article montre comment les poètes de l’école opitzienne vécurent l’antagonisme entre la littérature nationale et les Empereurs Habsbourg et tentèrent de le surmonter par différentes stratégies, qui vont de la critique acerbe à la soumission totale. |

| Summary, etc. | The Silesian Renaissance project of an imperial literature in German was conceived to serve the leader of the Protestant Union, Frederick V of the Palatinate, who was expected to become Emperor after having been elected King of Bohemia in 1619. After the Habsburg victory, the project finished up as a literature of opposition. This article shows how the literary school of Martin Opitz reacted to the antagonism between German national literature and the Habsburg Emperors, and how the poets tried to overcome it via strategies ranging from acerbic criticism to total submission. |
