| Summary, etc. | L’article reprend et valide d’abord les faits : la réception de Hegel par Heine met en évidence une double lecture de Hegel, exotérique et ésotérique. La première construit à partir des énoncés explicites de Heine l’image d’un bon Luthérien, fidèle serviteur de l’État. La seconde, lisant « entre les lignes », fait ressortir le contenu subversif de la pensée hégélienne. Cette seconde perspective fait apparaître une grande affinité avec les Jeunes hégéliens, notamment en ce qui concerne les implications athées de l’hégélianisme et l’intention politique de réaliser la philosophie par les actes. Au cours des dernières années de sa vie, Heine s’éloigne cependant de l’athéisme de Bauer et Strauss, Feuerbach et Marx, qu’il avait accepté auparavant, mais il en vient à se réconcilier avec Hegel qu’il perçoit désormais en penseur modéré entre les extrêmes. |

| Summary, etc. | This essay first reviews and confirms facts: Hegel’s reception by Heine testified to two ways of reading Hegel, one exoteric and the other esoteric. The former, based on Heine’s explicit statements, represents Hegel as a genuine Lutheran and a faithful civil servant. The latter, by looking between the lines, highlights the subversive quality of Hegel’s thought. This perspective reveals a deep kinship with the Young Hegelians, in particular as regards the atheist implications of Hegelianism, on the one hand, and the political intention of realizing philosophy through actions, on the other hand. Over the last years of his life, however, Heine moved away from Bauer’s and Strauss’, Feuerbach’s and Marx’s atheism, which he had embraced before, and he was gradually reconciled with Hegel, whom he perceived from then on as a moderate thinker standing between the extremes. |
