À l’expression « radicalisé », mot enfermant, les auteurs préfèrent celle de « mal converti », s’inspirant de Freud qui parle des « mal baptisés », diagnostic d’un enfermement. Avec les progrès du néolibéralisme, qui engendre une désaffection du sens, nous nous trouvons, semble-t-il, devant une impasse : le choix entre une religion de la laïcité ou un appel au religieux sous une forme radicale. Ainsi, à partir de quelques aspects : la déculturation, la laïcité, la marginalisation, le lien social, l’article vise à saisir la raison de cette conversion. |

| Summary, etc. | This article deals with the phenomenon of “radicalization” in a specific environment: France. Instead of the confining expression “radicalized,” the authors prefer “poorly converted,” drawing inspiration from Freud, who spoke of the “poorly baptized”—which is instead the diagnosis of a confinement. The spread of neoliberalism has given rise to a disaffection of meaning, and we are apparently confronted with an impasse between a religion of secularism or a call to a radical form of religion. Working from a number of dimensions—deculturation, secularism, marginalization, social links—this article explores the reasons for this conversion. |
